Farming Matters!

For the last few years thousands of people across the country have worn a dark green ribbon on Rogation Sunday to show their support for our farmers. Many churches have held special services.

Last year many wore their ribbons throughout the summer, and on into the winter.

This year we are again asking you to show farmers that you care and want to show your support for them. Wear a ribbon on May 16th and throughout this coming summer. Ask your local minister to arrange a special service involving your community. Arrange to 'Beat the Bounds'.

This is not just for rural parishes but can also take place in urban areas.
Green ribbons are available from the churches Rural Officers, from local churches and from some farmers markets and local shops or in bulk from the Arthur Rank Centre. If you want to offer practical help, as well as wearing the ribbon, BUY BRITISH!
