'ARC-Addington' Fund
Housing Scheme
The ARC-Addington Fund has announced a new scheme to help those in certain rural businesses whose workplace is also their home.
Many rural businesses are carrying an unsustainable load of debt, but as tenants many of these are unable to move out of the situation while remaining in their local community.
The ARC-Addington Fund is looking to provide affordable, local, rented housing within the community so that families are not uprooted.
It is aimed at those whose rural business is not viable and is organised in total confidence. There is a system in place for referral and criteria which need to be met. Details of the scheme can be found on the ARC website. A number of people have already been helped to move into a home which they have taken an active part in choosing.
